ANALYSIS OF A CLIMATE GRAPH
A climate graph is the graphic representation of the temperatures and precipitations of a place over the course of a year. The temperatures are represented with a red line while precipitations are shown with vertical blue bars
Talking about the precipitations of this climate graph, we observe that it doesn´t rains a lot because the total rainfall is scarce (477pmm) and its distribution is a irregular as there are 4 arid months (June, July, August and September). Most of the precipitations would be in the form of rain, we know this becausethe temperatures are to high to produce snow.
Looking further in the temperatures of the graph we can say the annual average temperature is warm (16.92 TºC), this means the temperature is not as hot a desert but it isn´t as cold as a coastal or alpine climate. The temperature range shows us it´s an Inland high zone because it´s over 16ºC. Summers in this zone are hot because July and August had 26ºC. In the other hand winters have a moderate temperature because the coldest months (January and December) had 9º.
We can analyse the aridity of a month and a year. To calculate the monthly aridity we use the Gaussen Index, results confirm the climate is mediterranean and not oceanic. The Martonne index is used to calculate de year aridity and we obtain 17,72 which is between 10 and 20, this is a semi-arid climate.
The city of the graph is Badajoz, situated in the centre of the Peninsula. it is a Mediterranean inland high zone of Extremadura. This is clear because we have some references in the graph that help us. We know it´s a mediterranean climate because the total rainfall is scarce and It´s distribution is irregular, this discards alpine, oceanic, dry mediterranean, and desert climates. The temperatures makes us know it is an inland high zone, because the temperature range is between 16 and 18 degrees and because annual average temperature is warm, like in Extremadura and the Ebro basin.
The mediterranean climate is characterized by temperate and rainy winters and hot and dry summers.
the landscape is not very green, it is more brown and yellow with a lot of types of scrubs, there are not big trees like Pines. It is ideal to cultivate irrigation plants like small fruit trees (oranges, lemons, cherries, etc...) and vegetables (tomatoes, onions, carrots, etc...) . The fauna is very variated and they are small animals, like birds (eagles, pigeons and storks), amphibians and reptiles (frogs, small snakes, toads,etc...), but thre are also some medium-sized animals like mountain goats, deers, etc... This climate is in the north-east of spain and in the coasts of the Mediterranean Sea.

Review:
ResponderEliminar-doesn´t rains-->doesn't rain.
-its distribution is a irregular ---> is irregular.
-becausethe temperatures are to high to produce snow--->because the/ [...]are too high
-Looking further in---> Looking further into
- this means the temperature is not as hot a desert but it isn´t as cold as a coastal or alpine climate---> this kind of statements are not necessary and may drop your grade.
-In the other hand---> On the other hand
-We can analyse the aridity of a month and a year---> With regard to the aridity...
-The city of the graph is Badajoz---> the graph represents the climatic features of Badajoz, a medium-size city located in the southern sub-plateau...
-Add the analysis of the Temperature Range in the paragraph of the temperatures.
-This climate is in the north-east of spain and in the coasts of the Mediterranean Sea.---> be careful, you just mentioned that this was a mediterranean inland so do not add the coasts to its geographical distribution.
